If this rumour is true, then what a dumb idea. Sure, it will probably sell a ton, but if they can hardly make a normal 360 without RROD, what makes you think they can pull it off on a slim model. Microsoft might as well make it out of cardboard and say, "bring it back to us in in about a year and we'll charge you for fixing a faulty system". Keep up the good and original ideas, Microsoft.
1.Halo Reach isn't setting any graphical standard for 2010. 2.Gears 3 is rumored to be out in 2011, if it isn't, I doubt it will be much of an improvement over the last 2. 3. Alan Wake has no better graphics than Banjo Kazooie. We cool?
I think KZ2 will look better even in Crysis 2's final stage. The reason being is that Crysis 2 is now multiplatform, meaning it's on the 360 too, so it will be a lot more limited than the first Crysis.
Actually, I think jakethemuss is right, Sony wants to attract casual gamers and hardcore gamers alike, with a bunch of family games for the casual, and hardcore games like Socom 4 for, well, the hardcore.

I don't know why this game got a better "lasting appeal" mark then Uncharted 2 did, now that is pretty dumb.
The same can be said for people who have say, 500 trophies, they don't wanna get achievements because it'll be like starting over.
